Trust & Safety

Our standards for every home

Group Home Listing exists because families deserve clarity when choosing care. We hold ourselves, and every operator on our platform, to the standards below.

Every home is reviewed

New listings sit in a pending queue until our team verifies the operator's identity, business registration, and license status.

Licensing is verified, and clearly labeled

We cross-check state licensing databases where available. Homes without an active license are shown transparently as 'Pending License Verification.'

Operator background checks

For homes serving vulnerable populations (IDD, youth, memory care), we require verified operator identity and reference contact information.

Transparent payer types

Operators disclose which payer types they accept, private pay, Medicaid waiver, VA benefits, LTC insurance, and government-funded programs, so families don't waste time on incompatible homes.

No pressure, no fees for families

Families never pay Group Home Listing to search, message, or confirm a placement. We're paid only by operators, and only after a confirmed check-in.

Report a concern

If you have a safety concern about a home listed on Group Home Listing, contact us immediately. We take complaints seriously and investigate every one.
