About the role

You will own the day-to-day review queue: verifying operator licenses, adjudicating user reports, and improving the policies that protect families and residents. You should be comfortable making judgment calls with incomplete information, documenting your reasoning, and calmly escalating serious concerns.

What you will do

  • Verify state licensing status and required documentation for new operator listings.
  • Adjudicate reports of abuse, neglect, misrepresentation, and policy violations.
  • Coordinate with state licensing boards and Adult Protective Services when appropriate.
  • Draft and improve Trust & Safety policies with Legal.
  • Build reporting on queue health, decision reversal rates, and SLA adherence.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years in Trust & Safety, compliance, licensing, healthcare operations, ombudsman, or APS.
  • Working knowledge of at least one U.S. state licensing framework for residential care.
  • Excellent written documentation and comfort with sensitive material.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with mandated reporting.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and state-level PHI rules.
